The Penn State College of Education Student Council (ESC) is a liaison between the College of Education’s administration and students. We are working to build a community within the College by bringing students together to share their ideas and experiences. Our goal is to provide our members with opportunities for networking, social interaction, service projects, professional development, and recruitment opportunities while fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
The ESC was reestablished in January 2013 to meet the need for a connection between the students and administrators of the College. The Council voices the opinions of the students of the College to the greater student body through its University Park Undergraduate Association representative. We host social events with the Deans to bridge that gap, as well as participate in recruitment for the College itself, providing tours and answering questions on panels for prospective students.
